transcode and redirect video stream to tv

hi,
my new tv is the samsung LE46 B750.
problem:
i can play all my videos on the tv (transcoded).
but i would also like to play video streams from the internet on the tv.
(using the same transcoding settings)
tryed some video streams from different sides.
differences in transcoding behavior but on the tv i get allways the error "not supportet fileformat".
1. youtube streams
testtranscoding & playback with vlc workes.
(only get the error for missing first key frame)
2. megavideo streams

any idea how to resolve this problems?
or where to search?
