WHS installation

I've been trying to install WMS on a Windows Home Server and connect to it via a Sony Bravia television (KDL-40EX700) that supports DNLA 1.5. WHS doesn't support DNLA 1.5 so I thought WMS would be the perfect solution. Installing WMS on WHS appears to be succesful, although building the media-list is slow.
My Bravia can now 'see' the WMS, but as soon as I try to connect I get 'server access denied'. I've been trying all sorts of settings and firewall changes, but no success. Installing WMS on my W7 desktop gave no issues and my Bravia could connect to it without any problem at all.

Any ideas on how to give my Bravia access to WMS that's running on WHS?

ok thanks Eugene - so it should work......
Any thoughts on why my Bravia is not able to access the server? Guidance, tips, known issues with WMS on WHS?

Ok thanks again - i'll have a read thru it, although at first glance I did see a lot of options mentioned that I already tried.

Before installing WMS I was running Twonky - had to remove this before my Bravia was able to see WMS. Any thoughts around this? Are there any firewall ports that need to be openend manually? It looks to me as an authentification problem.

BTW - Really like the product and functionality (as it runs perfect on my W7 desktop) any thoughts of building a WHS dedicated version?

Ok got it working :D

The fix was adding wmssvc.exe to the exceptions in the firewall. If WMS is running as a service, both wms.exe and wmssvc.exe need to be added to the firewall exemptions manually.
