Hi Eugene,
I've always used the 32 bits installation package.
If I now I use the 64 bits installation package, would the transcoding module (wmsmpeg.exe FFMPEG - actually 32 bits) will now use the 64 bits ability of my processor ?
Config : Win 10 (64 Bits) - i5 2500 (64 bits)
This question because some x265 files get the FFMPEG (32 bits) module to 100% of the processor use.. and the movies get (rarely) jerky.
Thanks
Nicolas
32 or 64 bit version : any difference for the processor ?
Re: 32 or 64 bit version : any difference for the processor ?
Eugene,
I've just tested the 64bits version... NO MORE LAGS AT ALL
FFMPEG module now runs in 64bits and x265 videos are played just so well now !
Should have tried before asking
Cheers,
Nicolas
