Hi!
Just bought a new computer so I'm happy I can try wms another time.
When I installed 1.07 I remembered the ratio problems I had when I opened this Topic a while ago.
I did what I remembered but didn't fix it like I remembered.

When I read Eugenes post
Eugene wrote:Another solution, might be to work

Settings - Transcoder - Profiles - Movies (primary) - Edit - Transcoding parameters - right click - "Select All" - Delete

Code: Select all

IfThen(mpInternetItem,
   WmsTranscodingProfileParams('Internet-television'),
   IfThen(mpSubItemsCount > 0,
      WmsTranscodingDvdParams,
      WmsTranscodingInputParams + WmsTranscodingVideoParams + ' -vf "aspect=4:3"' +
      WmsTranscodingMapParams(mpAudioStreamNo)))
I tryed it and it works for me on about 70% of the files I tried so far.

Where it didn't work yet, there was not any playback possible with "Movies (primary)" so I think it's a different problem.

Thanks for your work and help Eugene

Yours Naja

Hi, yesterday I played file . mkv full hd movie. First time it streched to full screen. Not depending on if your are using media folders or transcoded. But there were no subtitles. When I set up subtitles to ON video is streched to low screen up and down there are black lines. Please advise.

Maybe this will help. When playing mkv video there are no subtitles. Mkv video file is alone in the folder. WMS playing video without subtitles => but when you browse transcoding on your tv to the section subtitles there are folders for choice ENG and in my case CZ, so choose your subtitles language go back in my case with return key. Go back to the played video and it works now mkv video + subtitles.

Can someone explain me if these subtitles are in this mkv file composed inside the video file are not separeted alone in the folder as usually? Usually there is avi video + subtitles srt file.
