Can't Scan Subdirectories?

Hello,

I've set up WMS on 2 PCs over the past couple of days (one Win7, and the other XP). In both cases, files are only scanned in the specific directories that were added to the list. Subdirectories under the parent folders are ignored. Considering I have hundreds of music folders by Artist/Album, you can see how this would be an important neccessity. :)

Maybe I'm missing something, but I'm pretty sure I've checked all the settings, and I've reviewed some of the posts and the 'knowledge base' on this site. Am I in fact missing something, or is this a feature that's not available in this program?

Thanks,
Visor

Oooooh! Very interesting... I was un-checking all of them except for the relevant data in my folders (i.e. Video or Audio). I didn't even realize that last one was for subdirectories. Thanks a bunch!

Meanwhile, last night I tried a couple of other Media Servers (TVersity, PS3 Media Server), but yours works the best for my WDTV Live! (TVersity won't cooperate when making custom menus and PS3 Media Server is painfully slow when trying to navigate through menus).

Thanks again,
Visor
