Optimal settings for Philips 37PFL9604H

Post by cH_rI_sI »

@ Eugene:

When i choose the media device "Philips TV (DLNA, 16:9, 1920x1080)" the avi-format is missing - mostly i want to play AVI-files;
the Philips-Support told me, that the avi-format should meet following terms:

Video:

MPEG4 SP
MPEG4 ASP mit V-BOP
MPEG4 ASP mit V-BOP und 4 Bewegungsvektoren
Durchschnittliche maximale Bitrate 4000kbps
Maximal 40500 Makroblöcke pro Sekunde
Videopuffergröße 384k Bytes

Audio:

MPEG Layer 2/3
Sample Rate: 16kHz to 48kHz
Maximale Bitrate CBR & VBR, 8-384kbps

oder

AC3
Maximale Bitrate 32 - 640 kbps

How can i set this things in the media server??? Please support me - thanks in advance!

Settings-Device-Embedded file support - Movies add avi.
Settings-Transcoder-"Codecs, frame"-"Changing original frame size" - choose "Minimum, proportional to the screen"

If the avi-file, which is played with the USB, does not play via a media server, you may need to change the mime-type for avi-files to video/avi (Settings-File Types)

Perhaps it will be convenient turn on mode "For movies navigation from Transcoding" (Settings-Device). File without transcoding in folder Original. Also users have reported problems with the sound AC3, helps choose audio Codec MP3 or MP2 (Settings-Transcoder-"Codecs, frame")
