Sony Bravia KDL-46NX700: subititles and transcoding profile

Post by Max1980 »

Hi everybody.
I have a Sony Bravia KDL-46NX700.
I would like to know which settings are right for viewing my mkv (HD,720p) files properly. :)

1) - Sony can't read mkv, so WMS have to transcode files. Which transcoding profile is correct?? In which way can I set this profile for all mkv files in my DLNA folder??

2) - Mkv have only FORCED subtitles: in which way can I display on tv?? I would like to do that without selecting this option from transcode folder on my TV for each mkv. I would a ultimate option.:)

3) - Mkv in 1080p go slowly and stopping constantly: why? Maybe is the wrong transcoding profile? Or the connection? I have a 100Mbps lan ADSL.

Thank you!!!

What is CPU? If there a smalles from Core to Quad ~ 3...3.5GHz - you may forget about viewing 1080p via DLNA and wired LAN.
