Allow sleep mode when not streaming

Hi Eugene,

Currently I can prevent sleep mode when running WMS. Because I have WMS running as a service, it is impossible for my system to fall asleep (unless manually starting/stopping the service, which would take away the whole point of having it run as a service). I would be happy if I could configure WMS to only prevent sleep mode when it is actually streaming video. I understand that that would mean that I would manually have to wake up my machine in order to start streaming, but that is not an issue.

Thanks,
Radboud

Hi,

I think, you can not formalize the concept of "actually streaming video" (devices can request content by chunks, user can press Pause)

Via folder Service you can call "Stand-by mode" (Settings - "Media-resources" - Service - Fodler Service - Media Server - turn on "Stand-by mode")
