is pretranscoding possible?

Hi,

is it possible to pre-transcode every movie I have?
I see when I start movie for first time, I see after 1-2 minutes it starts Loading for a few seconds etc.

When I stop movie, totally, I start over after 10minutes,
It all goes flawlessly, so It seems it's not fast enough with transcoding, when it's a bit further with transcoding, all seem to work good.

I have checked CPU only 20% usage (i5 processor, if needed I can test with i7) but it seems thats not the issue
I have gigabit switch between TV & WMS PC , both show gigabit ethernet, so thats not also an issue.
Memory is 4GB only using 1.3GB so also not issue.
Can Hard Drive be the issue?? If needed I can add a SSD drive, for test. but first I would like to know your thoughts?
I can use SSD drive as cache drive only for transcoding?

Regards,

Marco

I did further investigation, I saw it's using 27% - 30% processor.
I can see my processor I5 has 4 cores. but it's only using 1 am I right?
how can I change this?
maybe that's the bottleneck!

Hi,

Do not waste your time on the pre-transcoding, network players are much cheaper TVs.
