http://www.wildmediaserver.com/test/sample.mkv - sample file with dts 5.1 - try to convert using mkv2vob (http://www.mkv2vob.com) and play without transcoding.

In the film with DTS audio i've converted the DTS in AC3

- Extract the DTS audio from the film with MkvExtract
- Using TranzGui to create 6 wav mono file
- With WAV to AC3 Encoder convert the 6 wav file into an AC3 file
- Insert the new AC3 audio into the film with mkvmerge and set it as default prymari audio.

with this system i've modifyed all my mouvies with DTS to AC3 audio and now everything work fine.

Eugene, i used the MKV2VOB on the movie i had the issues with and it worked. I now get full DTS while using this product, awesome!!! Now one more question, i wonder by running my movie thru MVK2VOB does it degrade video quality at all? The movie was in MKV and now it is in mpg. By moving to mpg does that do anything?

Thx

If you do not choose transcoding video, the video remains the same, mpg - extension, the format is likely to MPEG Transport Stream. At Sample.mkv check failed?

i downloaded and played your sample mkv. It plays fine but it is not DTS audio. It just comes up as DD5.1 on the PS3 xmb as well as my receiver.

Thx
