(have win 7 pro)

the path i have problem with is:
i think the problem is the ü as before..

Code: Select all

D:\Musik\christina stürmer\videos\Christina Stürmer - Mehr Waffen Video.avi
Change the value has no effect on old catalogs, only the new and requires rebooting.
In any case, i will try to invent something to solve the problem.

Hi, I have the same problem with the German umlauts (äöü). Is there already a solution?

Thank you for the WMS, otherwise it works perfectly with my SONY Bravia.
Sorry my english is not the best.

If your native language contains German umlauts (äöü), try switching to the Regional Settings (Control Panel) the native language for non-Unicode programs. The program is a fix for this problem, but it seems it does not always work.

"RTVTelevision 80s 90s Top Hits" from Shoutcast tv http://www.shoutcast.com/sbin/tunein-tv ... ?id=175658 does not play on W5500. Plays fine on PS3.
Tried transcoding profiles internet tv, internet tv demux, internet tv input stream, Movies (Primary). Wil try some more but don't think it will work. This channel has a stange resolution. Very small image.

Hi,
I think I have the same problem with accented characters in French.

below the console when I test with a file containing accented characters:

Code: Select all

C:\WMS>"C:\WMS\wmsmpeg.exe" -i "C:\Users\user\Music\Sonerien Treujenn Gaol\Son
neurs de clarinette en BRETAGNE\01 Daßs faßch an Danou½t.wma" -f s16be -ac 2 -ar

Try switching to the Regional Settings (Control Panel) the language for non-Unicode programs to French.

Try "Run As Administrator", the program can create symbolic links to the problematic media-resources,
the program can create hard links to the problematic media-resources (not need to run "Run As Administrator", but require a change wms.cfg in notepad <HardLinksDirectory>\WmsLinks</HardLinksDirectory>)
