I've done the recommended and the majority of my h.264 files work well but I have a problem when I try to stream a HD file. It does the test transcode well and works in VLC. Unfortunately the TV picture isn't right just a mess although the sound is coming through, I get the same result when playing the test file via usb?

Settings - Transcoder - "Codecs, frame" - change "File format" to "MPEGTS"
or
Settings - Transcoder - "Temporary files" - Transcoding file params - Movies - select extension mpg

Unfortunately, Sony does not play all the content H264, this frame size can not be supported.
You can use this advice http://www.wildmediaserver.com/forum/vi ... p=202#p202

Eugene - do you know where I can find the standards excepted by the TV so I can encode/transcode my existing files.

I have tried and failed to encode several DVD's using tools like ImToo with no luck.

I've had this from the official forum and googled the types but it doesn't seem to tell me much.

MPEG2_PS_SD MPEG2
MPEG2_TS_EU SD MPEG2
MPEG2_TS_EU-T SD MPEG2
MPEG2_TS_EU-ISO SD MPEG2
MPEG2_PS HD MPEG2
MPEG2_TS_EU HD MPEG2
MPEG2_TS_EU-T HD MPEG2
MPEG2 TS_EU-ISO HD MPEG2
MPEG2_TS_EU SD H.264
MPEG2_TS_EU-T SD H.264
MPEG2_TS_EU-ISO SD H.264
MPEG2_TS_EU HD H.264
MPEG2_TS_EU-T HD H.264
MPEG2_TS_EU-ISO HD H.264

regards,

Bob
