Web navigation outside of LAN

Post by pipTheGeek »

My mobile phone can connect back to my LAN via a VPN. The VPN comes into my LAN on a different subnet. If I am on my wireless, then I can access Wild Media Server web interface and play media. However, when connecting via the VPN I only get a blank screen.

I've tried adding my router as a device in Wild Media Server, I also recently requested a trial key for the router so it is currently on a trial license, but that didn't make any difference.

I don't know if this makes any difference, but my router is a normal PC running Linux, so it isn't UPnP capable.

Thanks in advance.

Eugene, are you still supporting Wild Media Server? No new version for a while and no word from you on the forums makes me wonder if I need to be looking for a new DLNA server. Or are you working on some big new features for us? :)
