subtitle support under linux via wine

Eugene,

Nice program

I work with the program under windows xp en under linux via Wine

Under linux the subtitles the *.srt are not shown on my Sony 46Z5500
Under Windows XP there is no problem

Any idea

Under Windows XP there is no problem
In Wine there were problems with the use GdiPlus, which is used for the subtitles, so the subtitles do not work. I need to check again on the latest versions of Wine, the information will be later.

Possible multi platform solution:

In some programs you see that subtitles are hardencoded into the video, so they are an integrated part of the video image

If Wild Media Server would have this option the problem is solved within Wild Media Server itself en creates a multi platform solution

Maybe I misunderstood. In WMS, you can connect any transcoder, which supports command line, OLE.
