Popcorn Hour A-200

Post by st72 »

Hi,

I'm using trial version, 3rd day... v1.08.2

Initial tests look very promising, this might finally be the killer app for my needs. We have NetGem, Popcorn, Sony and few mobile devices that I want to connect to 2 TB library to MPEG-TS and DVD/BD ISO's.

Biggest problem at this point: I can't get Popcorn Hour A-200 working with WMS.

I tried to follow guidelines from this : http://www.wildmediaserver.com/forum/vi ... ?f=12&t=68
- started from WD Live
- renamed to Popcorn XBOX
- tried several combinations of options

I can access the media library, see all the items (movies, ISOs, photos) but Popcorn won't open them.
After few seconds of loading I get 'Could not play'.

Could someone copy a configuration file that is working?

Cheers,
Henri

Update to 1.09rc2 - http://www.wildmediaserver.com/forum/vi ... &f=3#p5848

Known problems: after selecting a folder on the second and further pages, you can not go back (message "No Content Found On Server")

Thanks!

Most files play OK. Some problems:

MPEG-TS streamed from IPTV service not starting at all. Should transcoding parametres use MPEG-TS instead of MPEG-PS?

No subtitles in VOD (DBDSUB) or TS (DVBSUB), but MKV subtitles are OK.
