Re: Trascoding with CoreAVC

Hello,
srinivas_av wrote: I have added a podcast to the WMS whose RSS URL is below

http://podcast.msnbc.com/audio/podcast/ ... ST-MP3.xml

And once it is added, I see that the video is in H.264, so, thought of using transcode to my Panasonic TV (using P42G20E profile) with Movies-CoreAVC

As I see that using Movies - CoreAVC profile, it can trans code H.264 (Input Video) to MPEG2 (Output Video - Transcoding)

Is that something possible? I see that, when I selected, right click->test transcode, I don't see anything happening. (Also on TV)

Is it correct to use Movies-CoreAVC to transcode the video from above podcast?

(I did have CoreAVC installed on my computer.)
Transcoding profile "Movies - CoreAVC" does not support podcasts. Table for the files.
For podcasts can be used transcoding profiles "Movies (primary)" and "Movies - TsMuxer".
You can use the script pre-transcode "Pre transcoding (media-resource)" (Settings-Processing)
