I am fairly new to WMS so I suspect that I just have something configured incorrectly. I have WMS running on Server 2008 R2. No problems seeing the server from my Sony device. I can play MP3 and display JPG pictures. However I am unable to get any AVI or MPG files to come up at the device. When I go to the video section I can see the subdirectories, but each one just states no playable files.
I am not certain how or if I should be changing anything on the transcoding page.
The server has Windows Media player installed locally and can play all the avi and MPG files. Am I still needing to install something for the video files to play through the Sony player?
