appoligies for this, im certain whatever i need to know will be answered already but im failing to find it.
i've had WMS setup on a spare laptop with an external drive for ages, feeding to the TV in the title (over ethernet).
i had some issues with certain files skipping when i first got it setup and managed to find some settings to change to make it work. i have a 1080p MKV file at 9.39 gig. i have watched this on my TV before with no issues, no skipping no bother.
i had to reinstall windows on the laptop for some other stuff and reinstalled WMS but whatever is happening with transcoding it's causing it to skip every couple of seconds for maybe a second.
i should be able to sort this myself but honestly im lost in a miriad of transcoding profiles and things which i honestly have nae clue about.
any help will be much appreciated and i shall reward with cookies.
