I take your point RE Wi-Fi vs. Wired, but agree that in this particular case, it appears to be a deficiency of the S370 in playing Full HD .mkv with FLAC Audio, as this setting change fixes the video, but kills off the Audio once again....

First of all thank you very much for your great product. Your server is streaming my video files to the Sony BDP-S470. Unfortunally I am not able to get FAST FORWARD or FAST BACKWARD working. PAUSE is working fine.
Is it possible to activate the FAST FORWARD function and how can this be done ? - Thank you very much for your help !

For what type of files?

Hi Eugene, thank you for your feedback. I now tested Fast Forward and Fast Rewind with the same setup but with Windows Media Server and Sony BDP-S470 and it is working. The overall video quality with MSFT Media server compared to Wild Media Server is poor. Would be really great if you could spent some time to implement Fast Forward into the server. This would rate it a strong buy for Sony Products...

Via a Transcoding folder you can choose to play from any minute. Also there is a rewind.

Hi Eugene, just want to give you feedback: Indeed, via the transcoding folder its working. I can play from any minute.
But this is not what I would like to have. The files I am watching containing comercials and therefore I want to fast forward to the point, where the movie beginns.
If you find some time, it would be really great if you could try to get it work (FF and Rewind) without this workarround.
Your software is very stable and the picture quality is far better than MSFT Media Server.
