RTMP info

Post by localhost »

Hello,
i'm fairly new to all this DLNA stuff, but i wanted to try to stream a couple of RTMP streams to my DLNA bluray player.
here is an example of one of the "live" RTMP streams that i am trying to add to the Wild Media Server:

Code: Select all

rtmp://ny-1.net.fivecool.org/2e2cd/nhkworldhd.sdp
the stream works great with rtmpdump, but i can't seem to figure out how to get it to stream directly to the bluray player via WMS.

I noticed that RTMP is listed as a supported format on the WMS product info page, so maybe i'm doing something wrong? can some point me into the right direction or show me how to get the RTMP stream to work?
any help would be great! thanks
Eugene

Hello,

Select the folder "Internet-television" - List [Movies] - right click - "Add link" - Path - rtmp://ny-1.net.fivecool.org/2e2cd/nhkworldhd.sdp - Ok - right click - Transcoding proile - "Movies - RTMPDUMP - FFMPEG" - right click - "Test transcoding"
