Hardware/OS Requirements

Searched for "requirements" and "hardware", no results.

What are the recommended HW requirements?

Sound card required for transcoding?

What are the recommended OS requirements? XP, 2003, Vista, Win7?

cheapest, low end spec
about right, best performance at average cost
money no object. Guess goes without saying, bleeding edge hardware ;)
1x WDTV Live (FW 1.01.24)
1x O!Play HDP-R1 FW 1.18N
2x SMCWAA-G EZ Stream (never updated)
1x Dlink DSM-520 Media Lounge (FW 1.06 ,replaced by the WDTV Live)

No requirements, more dependent on the capabilities of media devices

sounds easy enough, what specs are the machine that you develop / use WMS?
1x WDTV Live (FW 1.01.24)
1x O!Play HDP-R1 FW 1.18N
2x SMCWAA-G EZ Stream (never updated)

Server: Intel Q9400, 4GB RAM
