Hi, I'd love to see the ability to restrict a device to only view media at certain times (say 09:00-21:00) and also the option of allowing only a certain number of hours viewing (say max 2 hours)
This would be really useful for my children's TVs.
Quota and time restrictions

Hi,
Perhaps in future versions. TVs do not have the TV-channels ?hepple wrote: I'd love to see the ability to restrict a device to only view media at certain times (say 09:00-21:00) and also the option of allowing only a certain number of hours viewing (say max 2 hours)

They do, but it would easy to remove the aerial and run everything through WMS.Eugene wrote:Hi,Perhaps in future versions. Logs of what has been watched would be good to.

Update to version 1.08.3 http://www.wildmediaserver.com/forum/vi ... &f=3#p5185
Re: Quota and time restrictions
it would also be godd to limit devices to movie ratings so certain devices cannot view R rated movies etc
Re: Quota and time restrictions
I would also like to limit the amount of time a device can be connected. The 'working time' does not show up in the device properties. Was it removed?
Upon further review it seems that the working time is/was only checked when a device reconnects. I would like for a device to be kicked off the server if it has viewed too much content on a particular day.
I would also like to request data logging for a device, if possible.
