Eugene-

I've found an anomaly with v1.11 that is also present in v1.11.1

I have a folder (called XXX) that I have configured with 'client device access' restrictions set. I only allow that folder to be accessed on one of my clients. If I delete anything from the folders scanned by WMS (does not have to be deleted from the XXX folder), select the 'Settings' icon from the top toolbar, and then 'Scan' to rescan- often the client access icon is removed from the XXX folder and all clients can view the video files within it.

I can also get this to happen if I delete files out of the scanned folders (again, does not have to be within the XXX folder) when WMS is not running. Starting up WMS of course scans the folders and the client access restriction is no longer present- all clients can watch porno - er I mean view video files.

I do not have the 'automatic scanning' feature turned on.

My wife discovered the XXX folder is available in the living room instead of only in the bedroom. OOPS!

Hi Eugene,

I'm a heavy user of CoreAVC profile. Since WMS 1.11, I'm having trouble playing MKV files with embedded subtitles. When subtitles reside on separate SRT files, movies play fine; when I select embedded subtitle tracks and try to play on my TV, some films plays only audio, others play strange color patterns, others fail completely (no audio, no video, player jumps to the next movie on list).

Should it be a side effect of changes made to CoreAVC profile to support more file formats? What can I send you to help fix this issue?

Thanks in advance,

Tulio.

Upgraded to 1.11.5 and embedded subtitles issue with CoreAVC vanished away.
Working like a swiss clock. Thanks again!

Hi,

I started to have some problems with this new version.
Subtitles not shown on tv, but they are there in the catalog.

Any ideas ?

Are you having trouble with some films, or all of them?
Problem happens with external subtitles (SRT, SUB files) or embedded ones?
Tried to select subtitle on video catalog with left mouse button and choose 'select track' button?
Select subtitle track detail
