Shoutcast: No more using direct Shoutcast Server URLs. All PLS/ASX/M3U links now work without modification.
Example: http://977music.com/itunes/hitz.pls and http://yp.shoutcast.com/sbin/tunein-sta ... id=1280356 can now be used without the need to extract the Shoutcast Server URL.
Before we get started. MPlayer is required to transcode the audio files.
MPlayer can be downloaded from here: http://sourceforge.net/project/showfile ... _id=205275
After downloading MPlayer install it C:\Program Files\MEncoder\
Step 1: Download the MPlayer-Transcoder.zip file attachment. Unzip the file into a temporary directory. Step 2: Settings - Transcoder - Profiles - Load - Select TaskKill-Transcoder.cfg from the zip file
Step 3: Clear Current Lists - No
Step 4: Settings - Transcoder - Profiles - Load - Select MPlayer-Transcoder.cfg from the zip file
Step 5: Clear Current Lists - No
Step 4: Select Transcoding Profile - Music - Internet-Radio (MPLAYER - FFMPEG) for all Shoutcast Radio (PLS/ASX/M3U) links
Please note: The TaskKill-Transcoder has been tested on Windows XP SP3. Modification maybe needed for other operating systems.
I have included test Shoutcast Radio links that use the new transcoder.
Step 1: Go to Music - Right Click Internet Radio - Load from file - Select Internet Radio.wdf from the zip file
Step 2: Listen to one of the (3) included Shoutcast Radio Stations
SiriusXM: Now you can finally listen to SiriusXM on WMS with the full ability to select the channel you want to listen to from your media device.
Before we get started. SiriusXM Streamer is required to access SiriusXM.
SiriusXM Streamer can be downloaded from here: http://www.permanence.com/sirius/
After downloading SiriusXM Streamer install it and set it up using the following screenshot as a reference.
SiriusXM Streamer must run in the background at all times. It will minimize to the System Tray.
Step 1: Follow the Shoutcast tutorial above.
Step 2: Go to Music - Right Click Podcasts - Load from file - Select SiriusXM.wdf from the zip file
Step 3: Make sure the SiriusXM Streamer is running.
Step 4: Go to Music - Podcasts - Right Click SiriusXM - Update Podcasts
Step 5: Listen to SiriusXM under the Podcasts folder on your media device.
Please note: The SiriusXM.wdf included is for Sirius account holders. Since I do not have XM, I can not make a XM channel list.

Update 05/04/2011: SiriusXM recently changed there channel lists. A new podcast configuration is needed to listen to there new channel line up!
Step 1: Download the SiriusXM-201105.zip file attachment. Unzip the file into a temporary directory. Step 2: Download and install the updated SiriusXM Streamer from here: http://www.permanence.com/sirius/
Step 3: Go to Music - Podcasts - Right Click SiriusXM - Delete Folder - Select Yes
Step 4: Go to Music - Right Click Podcasts - Load from file - Select SiriusXM-201105.wdf from the zip file
Step 5: Make sure the SiriusXM Streamer is running.
Step 6: Go to Music - Podcasts - Right Click SiriusXM - Update Podcasts
Step 7: Listen to SiriusXM under the Podcasts folder on your media device.

Update 05/17/2011: Fixed MPlayer transcoder failing with some SiriusXM streams due to a programming change in SiriusXM Streamer.
Step 1: Download the MPlayer-Transcoder-20110517.zip file attachment. Unzip the file into a temporary directory. Step 2: Settings - Transcoder - Profiles - Load - Select MPlayer-Transcoder-20110517.cfg from the zip file
Step 3: Clear Current Lists - No
Step 4: Restart Service
