Re: DTS Audio Issue
Eugene, thanks for checking into this. But the issue is actually the MKV files themselves. I'm running a gigabit network, although the BD-390 players are 100Mb each. So I know it isn't the network. Wild Media Server will not transcode ANYTHING... so if one MKV works, they all should. The BD-390 is s...

Re: CyberLink PowerDVD version 10 Ultra 3D
Any Windows UPnP clients that support MKV?
WMP and Nero don't. VLC uses PowerDVD plugin. If PowerDVD doesn't work, my guess is that VLC doesn't either.
But thanks for the response.

CyberLink PowerDVD version 10 Ultra 3D
Has anyone tried PowerDVD's UPnP client feature with WMS?
I downloaded it and can navigate the WMS folder structure, but no files are displayed in the folder so I can't stream anything.
I was curious if anyone has tried this and had any luck.
Are there any Windows UPnP Clients that work with WMS???

DTS Audio Issue
I have two LG BD-390 Blu-Ray players. One with a Sony XBR-7 TV, the other on an XBR-9. I stream 720p MKV movies from Wild Media Server. I have had no issues with the exception of some movies with DTS audio would lose volume for a fraction of a second every few seconds. It would be fine for a few sec...

Re: Transfer Data Buffer Size
So for an LG-BD390 would Chunk Transer Mode be beneficial or have no effect? What is the normal setting for the buffer? My server has 8GB of RAM. I don't care about 2, 4 or 8 MB or RAM. Most of the 720P movies have around 8,000 Kbps bit rate, or 1MBps. I set the buffer to 4096. Is this too high? Too...

Transfer Data Buffer Size
What is the optimal data buffer size for streaming 720P movies over hard wired network?
What is the Chunked Transfer Mode?

Re: 0.72.4 working beautifully with LG BD-390
I'll try HTTP 1.0 tonight.
Regardless... a small delay on the initial menu view is no big deal.

Re: 0.72.4 working beautifully with LG BD-390
As requested, here is the LOG file.
I started WMS. A few seconds later I made the initial request to view the file list from the LG. It took about 30-40 seconds.
I copied the log and stopped the server.
This is the entire log for the 50 seconds.

0.72.4 working beautifully with LG BD-390
Great work Eugene! The independent thumbnail support seems to make the initial caching on the Blu-Ray side faster. It still takes 10-15 seconds when you initially connect to WMS from the LG player, but then it is very fast. Much better than before. I love the "*" option to FULL embedded fi...

Re: I don't want it to transcode.
I never want transcoding, so I set the MAX FILE SIZE in TRANSCODER -> TRANSCODING FILE PARAMS to 1 Byte for Music, Movies, etc.
This is the only thing I can think of until Eugene adds a feature to simply TURN OFF transcoding.
I have not seen any transcoding, so maybe my workaround worked.
